Nashik, popularly known as the "wine city" of India is located around 190 km away from Mumbai and Pune. It is also among the holiest Hindu cities and one of the four which serves as the venue for the world-famous Kumbh Mela.

Transport & Infra:
Nashik is connected via two National Highways: the Mumbai–Agra Highway NH-3 and the Nashik–Pune Highway NH-50. It’s well connected by road to other cities like Aurangabad, Pune, Gujarat and cities in south India. Nashik's Ozar airport is located at a distance of 20km from the city centre. Nashik Road Railway Station is the major railway station in the city. The city is slated to get a Metro Rail service soon.
The city is part of the proposed Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor. The Nashik-Pune highway is fast nearing completion, while the Nashik-Mumbai highway has been expanded to four lanes.
The upcoming Indiabulls SEZ here is poised to be the state’s first multi-product SEZ. Nashik is also likely to host a proposed Indo-China Industrial park across 2000 acres at Sinnar.
