3. Food Corporation of India :
The Food Corporation of India has developed into a good residential catchment in Borivali East. There are projects like Ekta Apartment, Siddhivinayak Towers both walkable from Food Corporation of India main gate. The area has very few slums left. Some other developments like Kanakia Western Edge I & II, Kanakia Exotica, Geetanjali Tattva, Avon Majesty are few well know developments in the Vicinity.
4. Carter Road Nos 1 to 9 :
A complete well developed area in Borivali East boasting of very less or nil slum area. Sukurwadi is the only area left with slum. Its Proximity to Borivali Railway Station and various commercial zones. Projects like Sanghvi Solitaire, Kothari Samet Sikar Mahal are nearing completion. Triveni Neel Akash is also a residential development in the area. We call it the Neighbour of Sanjay Gandhi National Park. An area with similar connectivity like the one's mentioned above in Carter Road Nos 1 to 9. You will definitely have a cooler weather in Summer's compared to rest of the city. Its boasts of well known developments like Raheja Estate, Ekta Woods II, Bhoomi Flora, Parkside, Green Park by Raheja, Horizon Green, Cascade 1 and 3. The area houses a major office from TCS (Tata Consultancy Services).
6. Devipada :
This area is dominated by Slums. Few developments like Ambrosia Tower and upcoming Ariana Residency from Paradigm Realty could be the beginning of changing the landscape of the region. We call it the immediate neighbour of Kulupwadi and Magathane.
7. Abhinav Nagar :
This area falls on the other side of Sanjay Gandhi National Park. So we can say that Sanjay Gandhi National Park has Kulupwadi on one side and on the other Abhinav Nagar. Its a well developed area with serenity. It consists of old buildings. Its well connected to Western Express Highway.
8. Kajupada :
Kajupada is dominated by Slums along with few well known developments like La Bellezza and La Vista building giving the person a feel of staying on the hills and panoramic views of Borivali. Shiv Vallabh Road which runs from Gokul Anand Hotel in Dahisar East all the way to Kajupada and ultimately connects to Nancy Colony.
9. Nensey Colony :
Nensey Colony boasts of well developed infrastructure including well developed buildings, grocery stores including well known Sona Theatre adjoining Sanjay Gandhi National Park. It has developments like Gangadhar Nagar CHS, Godavari CHS, Adinath Tower CHS. Its well connected to Western Express Highway. Its a well developed area with almost nil slums in the vicinity.
10. Daulat Nagar :
Daulat Nagar is a serene area between Borivali East and Dahisar East. Its again well connected to Western Express Highway, Borivali and Dahisar Railway Station, Sudhir Phadke Flyover connecting to Bhagwati Hospital and Western Express Highway. This area has partial slums. But overall its good to stay. Its a well planned mini city in itself. The buildings in the area consist of old and new premises.
11. Ratan Nagar :
Ratan Nagar is the tail end of Borivali East. It boasts of well known St. Xavier's School. The Buildings in Ratan Nagar are mostly 10+ years old. Many would be ready for redevelopment in a few years time. Ratan Nagar is well developed internally with almost no slums. The approach to Ratan Nagar can be through Ambawadi (has slums) or through Daulat Nagar.
12. Rajendra Nagar :
Rajendra Nagar is a mixed area in Borivali East close to Borivali Railway Station (Platform No : 1 or old Platform No : 8). It does consist of Partial Slums. Its boasts of some famous developments like Rustomjee Summit, Rustomjee Pinnacle, Mangaldeep CHS, Kaustubh Platinum, Gokul Mayurpankh and Akar Pinnacle. Its well connected to Borivali West (Kora Kendra) and Western Express Highway, Upcoming Magathane Metro Station.
