KLJ Plasticizers, one of South Asia's major makers of plasticizers and polymer compounds, has acquired a vast 2,000-square-yard villa in Vasant Vihar for Rs 111 crore. This is a source of information on the Delhi real estate market.

Birdie and Birdie realtors, a subsidiary of Fortis Healthcare, sold the property.

According to real estate insiders in Delhi, KLJ Plasticizers has paid the state government more than Rs 6 crore in stamp duty.

Vasant Vihar and Shanti Niketan have emerged as popular bungalow locations for High Net-worth Individuals (HNIs), owing to the availability of huge plots and less restrictions in comparison to Lutyens' Delhi.

According to prominent realtors in Delhi, several high-profile purchases occurred throughout the epidemic, and Vasant Vihar, as an upmarket neighbourhood in Delhi, has always experienced a high demand for luxury houses. This region is populated by prominent businessmen and other HNIs, who have demonstrated a strong desire for independent residences and prestigious luxury homes.
