The new line (Goregaon to CMST) is expected to be further extended to Borivali at an approximate budget of INR 850 Cr plus.

Currenty around Forty Two train services ply from CSMT to Goregaon and the train stops at the Jogeshwari, Ram Mandir and Goregaon platforms. Commuters travelling to harbor lines from the western corridor will find this new arrangement a life changing one and have welcomed this move from the railways.
